This is a one page worksheet designed to help students examine the information contained in their periodic tables. It is based on the Sargent-Welch periodic table (it's has red and blue type on it in addition to black). It contains three exercises:
making a key to interpret the information
finding some specific information (e.g., what's the density of gold?)
examining the elements (a scavenger hunt)
